Overview

Ashley Stewart is an American plus size women's clothing company and lifestyle brand. Among my responsibilities on this project, I led the creation of global library of styles and components that could be used across the e-commerce platform. This library was used to overhaul product pages and the checkout experience.

Product pages

Our team worked to establish a modernized look for product pages while working within the constraints of the Salesforce platform. Pages were updated to promote focus on visual content with a simple typographic approach.

Recommendations included:
→ Quick add & mini cart
→ Updated user reviews to include photos
→ Embedded user generated & influencer content
→ Personalized product recommendations

Global styles

Until this point, no library had been used and a lack of consistency was apparent across the experience. An audit of the current experience was conducted and existing styles were translated into a functional library of typography, color and global components.

Cart and Checkout

Balancing business goals with user experience meant devising a strategy around progressive disclosure. Introducing quick add functionality made adding products seamless, like the physical shopping experience. Collapsable sections on a single page reduced clutter and created inline surfaces for upselling products and credit card offers.
