Overview
MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented database program. After undergoing an in-depth rebrand, the creative design team needed direction for how to apply motion and animation within the new brand system. I worked directly with the marketing team and a freelance animator to explore motion styles, create animated content & define a strategy for digital environments.

My first task was to create animated icons and illustrations for marketing pages. I created custom animations in after effects and used the Lottie process to translate them into JSON using the bodymovin plugin for universal use.
