Vineyard Vines is a clothing and accessory retailer based in New England. During Covid-19, as physical store sales were limited the team looked to refresh their digital footprint. I led the creation of a global library that powered visual and UX updates across e-commerce and marketing pages.

Eager for a twist on tradition, the team at Vineyard Vines wanted an updated visual style online. We started with product detail and landing pages by prioritizing imagery, simplifying section layouts & type styles. These visual updates branched beyond product and into global navigation, checkout and marketing pages.

Checkout

The refreshed checkout experience aimed for less clutter and more content hierarchy for easy readability. A single page with truncated sections help to direct focus only on pertinent information.

Global styles and components

A light internal engineering team and limited bandwidth required a strategy that would allow for scaling visual updates quickly. In order to achieve a consistent overhaul we defined a style and component library.
